What do you use to sweeten your products?
Apple juice and allulose.
What is allulose?
Allulose is a natural sweetener that tastes like sugar, but has a fraction of the calories and isn’t absorbed by the body. It’s often referred to as a “rare sugar” because it’s found in relatively low quantities in nature. Yeah, we like the good stuff.
What are net carbs?
Certain carbs—such as fiber—are largely indigestible and are believed to have minimal impact on blood sugar levels. Therefore, these are removed from the total carb count to get the net carbs.
To calculate the net carbs in each gummy packet, we deduct the amount of fiber and the amount of allulose from the total carb count (net carbs = total carbs - fiber - allulose). Under this calculation, we’re left with 6g net carbs!
Do you use any artificial ingredients?
No!
Do you use any sugar alcohols?
No way.
Do your products contain fiber?
You bet, but we made sure to keep our fiber content moderate to minimize the risk of any potential tummy aches.
Are your products vegan?
Yes, 100 percent!
Are your products non-GMO?
We are in the process of getting our non-GMO certification–stay tuned!
Are your products gluten-free?
Our gummies are made with gluten-free ingredients but we have not applied for the applicable certification yet.
Are your products kosher?
Our gummies are made with kosher ingredients, but we don’t have the certification yet.
Are your products keto-friendly?
While we don’t subscribe to any specific diet, we think our keto friends can comfortably indulge in our gummies given that they contain no sugar alcohols and only 6g net carbs and 3g sugar per bag.
Can I eat your products if I’m diabetic?
Our gummies contain 3g sugar per bag, which is significantly lower than many other candy products out there. Prior to consumption, however, we recommend consulting with your physician if you have any health or dietary concerns.
Do your products contain any allergens?
Our products do not include any of the top 10 allergens. Our manufacturer does sometimes use small amounts of coconut oil as a manufacturing process aid.
What’s the shelf life?
Two years–but don’t worry, we’re pretty sure you’ll finish your gummies long before then!
Do your products need to be refrigerated?
No, but we recommend keeping them at a temperature below 75 degrees.
Where are your products made?
All products are manufactured in the United States.
Who regulates your products?
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
