Our Site may contain links to other websites, applications, or services.  We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any third parties or the content of linked websites, applications, or services. We encourage you to read the applicable privacy notices and terms and conditions of such parties or websites, applications, or services. 

How We Protect Your Information

We have implemented measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure, including using reputable third-party vendors to protect personal information we receive. 

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Site and/or Offerings. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site and/or Offerings.

Retention of Your Information.

We will keep your personal information for as long as it necessary to provide the Site and/or Offerings to you. Thereafter, we will keep your personal information for as long as is necessary:

  • to respond to any questions, complaints, or claims made by your or on your behalf;

  • to show that we treated you fairly; or

  • to keep records required by law.

We will not retain your personal information for longer than necessary for the purposes set forth in this Privacy Notice.  When your personal information is no longer necessary for such purposes, we will delete or anonymize it.

Tracking Technologies and Advertising

You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this Site and/or Offerings may then be inaccessible or not function properly.

Targeted Advertising

We may use third parties such as network advertisers to serve advertisements on our Site and on third-party websites or other media (e.g., social networking platforms). This enables us to target advertisements to you for products and services in which you might be interested. Third-party ad network providers, advertisers, sponsors and/or traffic measurement services may use cookies, JavaScript, web beacons (including clear GIFs), Flash LSOs and other tracking technologies to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize advertising content to you. These third-party cookies and other technologies are governed by each third party’s specific privacy policy, not this one.

We do not control third parties' collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way.  For example, you may go to the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”) Consumer Choice Page for information about opting out of interest-based advertising and their choices regarding having information used by DAA companies. You may also go to the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”) Consumer Opt-Out Page for information about opting out of interest-based advertising and their choices regarding having information used by NAI members.

Promotional Offers from Better Sour. If you do not wish to have your contact information used by us to promote our Site and/or Offerings, you can opt-out by sending us an email stating your request to hello@bettersour.com. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may send us a return email asking to be omitted from future email distributions. 

Do Not Track Information. Some browsers or other tools include “Do Not Track” (DNT) features which, when turned on, send a signal to websites or applications you visit indicating you do not wish to be tracked over time. However, we do not currently respond to DNT signals.

Children Under the Age of 18.

Our Site and/or Offerings are not intended for children under 18 years of age. No one under age 18 may provide any information to or on the Site and/or Offerings. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you are under 18, do not use or provide any information on the Offerings or on or through any of its features. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. Changes to Our Privacy Notice.

If you do not agree to this Notice, do not use the Site and/or Offerings. 

In our sole discretion, we may revise this Notice from time-to-time. The Last Modified date is set forth at the top of this page. All changes are effective 15 days after the Last Modified date for current users and immediately for new users. Your continued use of the Site and/or Offerings following the posting of this Notice means you accept and agree to the Notice.
